Canton Farmers Market Returns May 28
Vendor applications for the 2016 season are now being accepted by organizers.

CANTON, GA -- Residents in and around Canton will soon be able to purchase fresh produce directly from Georgia vendors in the city's central business district.

That's because the Canton Farmers Market will arrive in less than two months. The 2016 season will kick off May 28 and run each Saturday through Oct. 29. Market hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the gathering will take place at Cannon Park near the gazebo.
Canton's market will feature vendors selling items such as farm-fresh produce and baked goods, handmade soaps, chocolate, fresh garden flowers, herbs, shrubs and other goodies.

The Canton Main Street Program is now accepting vendor applications for the 2016 season. Those applications, which include details on what the program accepts, can be downloaded here.
