CANTON, GA – A Canton woman has been charged in connection with a fatal pedestrian crash in November 2019.
Christi Hinkley, 64, voluntarily turned herself in on Tuesday after a warrant was issued for her arrest in connection with the crash that killed Sebastian Gregorio-Diego, 58, on Nov. 20, 2019, according to a post on the Canton Police Facebook page.
Hinkley has been charged with felony homicide by vehicle and felony hit and run resulting in serious injury or death, police said.

Canton Police and Cherokee County Fire crews responded to a crash near 217 Riverstone Parkway before 8 p.m. on Nov. 20, according to a press release from police on Nov. 21. Police said Gregorio-Diego was hit by a car while crossing the street and died on the scene from his injuries.
