Cherokee Chamber Honors Local Volunteer
DeeDee Doeckel, with Cherokee FOCUS, has been named the Chairman's Council Volunteer of the Quarter for first quarter 2019.

CANTON, GA -- The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce recently announced that DeeDee Doeckel, with Cherokee FOCUS, has been named the Chairman's Council Volunteer of the Quarter for first quarter 2019. She was honored during the Chamber's March Good Morning Cherokee breakfast networking event.
Members of the Chairman’s Council are accepted by invitation only from the Chamber's Board
Chair. The Chairman’s Council members are invited to attend ribbon cuttings and ground breakings, Coffee and Connections…For New Members and special invitation Chamber meetings that aren’t open to the general membership.
In determining the Volunteer of the Quarter, attendance at Chamber events is evaluated for all
members of the Chairman's Council.
"There was no doubt when naming this quarter's honoree as DeeDee has attended many Chamber events since the first of the year," John Barker, Chamber Board Chair and Owner of Delphi Global Technology, said.
