Developers Plan 'Cutting Edge' Senior Community in Canton

The project, which will contain independent, memory care and assisted living components, will be situated along Sixes Road.

Atlanta-based developer Aspire Development Partners and Wells Real Estate Funds announced on Tuesday that plans are underway for a “unique and cutting edge” senior living community in central Cherokee county.

The project will contain 140 units of independent living residences and 80 units of assisted living and memory care residences and is expected to add nearly 300 new operational and construction jobs to the area, Aspire said in a press release.

The site for the community is located in unincorporated Canton along Sixes Road near BridgeMill, Aspire states. The community offers convenient access to major highways, shopping, retail, healthcare and other services important to senior residents, Aspire notes.

“We are very excited about bringing this quality of senior living to Cherokee County, especially considering the exceptional growth and development in the area,” said David R. Hink, managing partner for Aspire. “The people and leaders in this community have been very welcoming and our hope is that Aspire’s innovative and integrative approach to senior living will be an exciting new and value added asset to the area.”

Aspire’s senior living communities are uniquely designed to meet the needs of its residents as well as the needs of the surrounding communities. All Aspire communities focus on wellness, quality of life and social engagement.

The community is being constructed by Choate Construction and is set to open late 2016.
