Georgia voters have turned out in record numbers to vote during the state's gold-standard three weeks of early in-person voting, according to the Secretary of State's Office.
As the Nov. 3 general election approaches, state officials said Georgia continues to break records in absentee by mail voting and early, in-person voting.
"Georgia is a leader in election access," said Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. "Notwithstanding the pandemic, voters in the Peach State can take advantage of no-excuse absentee ballot voting by mail or through a secure drop box; three weeks of early, in-person voting or Election Day voting."
On Election Day, Cherokee County residents must vote at their assigned precinct and present a valid photo ID. To check your precinct location online, go to: www.mvp.sos.ga.gov, or call the Cherokee County Elections Office at 770-479-0407 for assistance.
