The University Opera is a program the gives students who are interested in becoming professional opera singers a chance to gain experience. This program does not just give students opera experience, it gives them an all-around theatre experience on how to act, design sets and make costumes. The University Opera will have a performance on Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Admission costs $12.50.
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, October 30
A Halloween-type show is another performance set for October. “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” performed by Virginia Rep on Tour, is set for Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. The play will finish out Reinhardt’s Homecoming Week.
The play is based off of the book written by Washington Irving. The story is about a man who is trying to win a woman’s hand in marriage. The story is told through a funny ghost story. The play will be more of a comical ghost story than a scary fear-evoking tale, making it perfect for the whole family. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (55 and older) and $5 for children 12 and younger.

November also has a jam-packed schedule that is open to the public.
