Firefighters put out blazes Friday morning in a pair of mobile homes in Canton.

CANTON, GA — A fire Friday morning in a mobile home park destroyed one trailer and heavily damaged another, according to Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services. No injuries were reported, and both mobile homes appeared to be vacant with no power or natural gas connections, the fire department said.
Firefighters responded shortly before 10 a.m. Friday to the report of a structure fire in the Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park, at 640 Lakeside Drive in Canton.
They found smoke coming from two mobile homes. "One was already on the ground and the other one was still on fire," the fire department said in a statement.
