Free Adoptions This Week At Cherokee Animal Shelter

All pets over 6-months-old are free to adopt through June 1 at the Cherokee Animal Shelter.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Just in time for the summer break to begin, families can add a furry member to their home for free from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.

All pets over 6-months-old are free to adopt from the shelter through June 1. Adoptions include the initial vaccinations, a spay or neuter, microchip, dewormed, flea/tick treatment, heartworm or FELV/FIV testing, free sample bag of food and other services.

The shelter is located at 1015 Univeter Road, Canton. To contact the shelter, call 770-345-7270 Adoptions are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday.
