Free Microchipping Saturday For Dogs In Cherokee County

CANTON, GA -- The Cherokee County Animal Shelter is offering a free microchipping event this Saturday, April 20 for dogs. Cats are also included for $5 each, cash only.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the Animal Shelter Adoption Building, 1015 Univeter Road, Canton.

This clinic will not have appointments, but will be a first come, first served line. Preregistration can be done to be in the priority line. Each pet must have a separate registration form.

Pets must be on a leash or in a secure carrier. This service is not available for previous no shows, breeders, rescue groups of pet businesses. Owners must provide proof of residency.
