GDOT Completes Work On Ga. 20 Intersection Project

The project installed dual left-turn lanes at Herndon Drive and a median in front of the RaceTrac gas station driveway in Canton.

CANTON, GA — The Georgia Department of Transportation has wrapped up a Quick Response project at an intersection on Ga. 20 in Canton.

The agency said work to install dual left-turn lanes on the southbound direction at the Ga. 20-Herndon Drive intersection is now complete. Georgia DOT's project also installed a median in front of the RaceTrac gas station driveway.

"This quick response project will certainly improve the flow of traffic in the area, make it safer and help the public get where they need to go in Cherokee County," GDOT said in a press release.
