“My experience allows me an unusually strong insight to the financial aspects of a dispute,” Burnette stated.

He went on to say that the depth and breadth of his experience “provides an ability to identify issues other than money that will lead to the resolution of a dispute.”

As a passionate believer in alternative dispute resolution, Burnette advocates that parties seek to settle a dispute as quickly as possible. Litigation, Burnette said, “can often be very expensive, time-consuming, and emotionally draining.”

Through the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, Burnette is registered with the Supreme Court of Georgia in General Mediation, Arbitration and Divorce Mediation. He received his training through the Henning Institute in Atlanta.

Burnette said that his customers in Cherokee County would be attorneys who represented clients who wished to settle a dispute rather than enter into a lawsuit or go to court.

“Except in unusual circumstances, parties involved in a dispute should always be represented by an attorney,” Burnette added.

Based in Canton and located at 150 North Street, adjacent to the Cherokee County Historic Courthouse, the firm will serve the Greater Atlanta area.
