Corporate Environments is pleased to announce that Marcus Tate has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. In this capacity, Tate serves as a key executive of the Corporate Environments leadership team with overall accountability for sales and marketing activities for furniture and architectural sales.

Other responsibilities include development of sales strategies and plans to achieve established goals regarding sales volume, gross profit and business development. Tate oversees three sales directors who manage the company’s various vertical markets. He is charged with growing market share across all segments of the business, and to this end focuses on strategy that leads to tactical execution.

Tate has 15 years of experience in the commercial furnishings industry, serving in various commercial sales roles, most recently as a Director of Sales for Corporate Environments.

Actively involved with CoreNet, Tate sits on the community cares committee which is a group of professionals involved with urban outreach organizations such as The Nicholas House. He is also a member of the International Facility Management Association, the Georgia Association of Physical Plan Administrators and the Council of Educational Facility Planners International. Tate is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.

Outside of work, Tate is a devoted father who stays busy attending his children’s sporting events and tournaments. An athlete himself, Tate competitively plays in flag football and basketball leagues in the metro area. Tate resides with his family in Canton, Georgia.
