In Memory: Matthew D. Burkman, 24

Matthew D. Burkman, age 24, of Canton, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lori Osborn officiating. Mr. Burkman will be cremated following the funeral service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Barr, Gail Burkman and Leonard Burkman. Survivors include his parents, Shari and Duane Burkman; sister, Danielle Burkman; grandmother, Thelma Barr; aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
