Mother Arrested On Murder Charges After Baby Fatally Stabbed
A 20-year-old woman from Tennessee was arrested on felony murder charges Tuesday after her 13-month-old child died earlier this month.
CANTON, GA — A 20-year-old woman from Tennessee was arrested on felony murder charges Tuesday after her 13-month-old child died earlier this month from stabbing injuries.
On Tuesday, Canton Police detectives secured a felony murder warrant for the arrest of Chloe Driver, 20, of Knoxville, Tennessee. Driver was arrested after being discharged from the hospital for the murder of her 13-month-old daughter, Hannah Nicole Driver. Driver is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.

- Felony murder with malice
- Cruelty to children - causes excessive physical or mental pain - 1st degree
- Felony aggravated assault with intent to rape/murder/rob
- Felony aggravated battery
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 at a home in the 200 block of Mountain Vista Boulevard in the Mountain View subdivision.
Canton officers were called to the home and found the injured people in a bedroom with stab wounds. The child was transported to Northside Hospital Cherokee, where she died from her injuries.
