Movies In The Park Start June 17 In Canton

CANTON, GA -- The 2017 Movies in the Park series will get underway Saturday in Canton, bringing an opportunity for you and your family to enjoy a night out under the stars at Brown Park.

The free series, hosted by Northside Hospital Cherokee, kicks off around 8:50 p.m. June 17 with "SING."

Upcoming films will include "The LEGO Batman Movie" at 8:45 July 22 and "The Boss Baby" at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 26. Prior to each movie, children's activities such as face painting will be available. Of course, youngsters will also have a chance to take advantage of the jungle gym and swing sets at the park before the movie begins.

Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and snuggle up as the movie is shown on the big screen. Movie snacks will be available for purchase.

The 2017 Movies in the Park series is sponsored by Northside Hospital, Southern Outdoor Cinema, Covenant Christian Academy and the city of Canton.
