Registration Ends Jan. 15 For Cherokee Youth Lacrosse Spring 2016 Season

The deadline is inching closer to register your little ones for the Cherokee Youth Lacrosse spring 2016 season.

Spring 2016 lacrosse will include practice two days per week (Bantam level and above) and eight regular season games.

Here are the important dates you need to know for the season:

• Registration deadline: Jan. 15 (can be done online at crpa.net or in person at the Cherokee Recreation Center, 7545 Main Street, Woodstock);
• Late registration: Jan. 18-22 (will only fill spots remaining).

Registration costs for players are broken down by grade level, including: Little LAXers (kindergarten through first grade): $50; Bantam (grades 1-3): $225; Lightning (grades 4-5): $225; Junior (grades 6-7): $225; and Senior (grades 7-8): $225.

The first day of practice is set for Monday, Feb. 1 and the first week of games will take place Feb. 27.

All practices and home games will take place at J.J. Biello Riverside Athletic Complex in Woodstock or other county parks as necessary. All away games will take place at other parks within the north metro Atlanta area.

Little LAXers will practice and play on Saturdays at a set time at Biello park or other parks as necessary. Players Bantam and above will receive a jersey and shorts for game uniforms. Little LAXers uniform will consist of a reversible pinnie.
