Riverfest Moves To Etowah River Park In Canton

The Service League of Cherokee County's 33rd annual event will be held Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24.

CANTON, GA -- The 33rd annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival is less than two months away, and organizers are gearing up to bring two-days of family-friendly fun to residents at a new location. The 2017 festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 at Etowah River Park in Canton.

Hosted by the Service League of Cherokee County, Riverfest is a juried show, featuring original, creative, handmade work from artisans all over the region. The event, which is breaking from its long-standing of tradition of being held at Boling Park in Canton, also showcases extraordinary entertainment throughout the weekend - live music and dancing - as well as a children's area where youngsters of all ages can participate in a number of rides and activities.

Patrons, new and those returning, are invited to save the date for this two-day festival, the Service League’s largest annual fundraising event. All proceeds will benefit less fortunate children of Cherokee County.
