Russian Youth Baseball Team Comes To Cherokee
Spartak Baseball will play two scrimmage games with Hobgood Baseball on Tuesday, April 5.

in just a couple of days, Hobgood Baseball will host a youth baseball program from Moscow.
Spartak Baseball, a 12U youth baseball program from Russia, will come to Woodstock on Tuesday, April 5 and play two scrimmage games will be played at the Hobgood Softball Complex.
The games will begin at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The event is possible through the Atlanta International Umpires Association.

This visit is part of the international diplomacy through youth sports initiative. The players are coming from Moscow and will stay in Atlanta March 28 through April 9 and will play a series of scrimmages with Atlanta youth baseball teams.
“Hobgood Baseball is honored to be a part of the Spartak Baseball visit to Atlanta,” said Chad Martin, chairman of Hobgood Baseball's Board of Directors. “Baseball brings youth from all walks of life together. Our park is excited to welcome the Spartak Baseball family to Cherokee County.”

The community is invited to attend this special event. The complex is located at 6688 Bells Ferry Road.
