Sinkhole Closes Part Of Cherokee County Road: Sheriff's Office
A sinkhole on Friday morning closed one lane of Collet Drive, east of Canton, say local police.
CANTON, GA — A sinkhole closed one lane of a road Friday morning in Cherokee County, and repairs are under way, according to the Cherokee County sheriff's Office.
The sinkhole formed Friday morning under Collet Drive, near the 900 block of the roadway, the sheriff's office said.
Collet Drive is several miles east of Canton and Interstate 575, and runs between East Cherokee Drive and Arbor Hill Road.
