CCSD Educator Charged With Sexual Assault

Jack Eisenman of Woodstock was an English teacher at Cherokee High School in Canton.

CANTON, GA — Another Cherokee County School District educator is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. Jack Gordon Eisenman III, 25, of Woodstock, is charged with one count sexual assault by teacher/school official, according to Cherokee Sheriff's Office jail records.

Eisenman, an English teacher at Cherokee High School, was booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center on Wednesday, Dec. 19. The Cherokee County School District informed parents Wednesday afternoon on the charges stemming from an "alleged inappropriate relationship with a student."

The district notes the police department filed the sexual assault charge after receiving an anonymous tip earlier this week. Eisenman, who was also the boys head soccer coach at Cherokee, was placed on immediate leave Wednesday, CCSD added.
