Touch-A-Truck Set For Saturday

The 10th annual event hosted by Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will be held Oct. 1 in Holly Springs.

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA -- Saturday will be your (and your little one's) chance to get up close and personal with trucks, cars and emergency vehicles that make Cherokee County run.

The Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will host its popular 10th annual Touch-A-Truck event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services' Fire Training Center in Holly Springs.

Kids and parents alike will have the opportunity to explore, honk, push buttons in and climb on the various vehicles that will be on display.

Examples of vehicles that will be on hand to check out are a fire truck, police car, ambulance, backhoe, dump truck, recycling truck, race car, as well as smaller vehicles such as mowers, gators and motorcycles.

No registration is necessary, just show up and enjoy the vehicles on display. The fire training center is located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway.
