Utility Vehicle Rolls Over Man In Cherokee County
Cherokee County fire officials said a John Deere Gator "rolled over" the 90-year-old man, who was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
CANTON, GA — An elderly man was transported to an area hospital early Tuesday following an accident involving utility vehicle in Cherokee County.
Crews with Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services were dispatched to a call of a man entrapped under a utility vehicle around 7:45 a.m. Nov.27 on Essic Road, which is located off Soap Creek Road near the Pickens County border.
First responders arrived at the scene and learned a John Deere Gator had "rolled over" a 90-year-old man. CCFES said witnesses were able to push the Gator off the man's body. The accident victim was reportedly conscious and alert at the scene.

While he didn't appear to have any major injuries, an ambulance was dispatched to transport the victim to Northside Hospital Cherokee for evaluation.
