3 Teens Charged In Cartersville Vehicle Break-Ins: Police
Three Tennessee teens were arrested early Saturday following car break-ins at a Cartersville apartment complex, say police.

CARTERSVILLE, MD — Three teenagers from Tennessee are facing criminal charges stemming from break-ins into vehicles early Saturday, said a Cartersville police spokesman. The thefts occurred at the Collins Point Apartments, according to a police report.
The police identified the three teens as a male 17-year-old juvenile and two others, Antonio Daniels and Edvin Juarez. The police did not have information available about the ages or hometowns of Daniels and Juarez, said Lt. M.E. Bettikofer, a police spokesman.
At 3:30 a.m. Saturday, a police officer pulled over a Dodge Magnum with Tennessee plates for an equipment violation.

He noticed that three individuals in the car matched the descriptions of people seen breaking into cars an hour earlier at the apartment complex, the police report stated.
The thieves had left the complex in a dark-colored Dodge Magnum that matched the description of the car stopped by the police, they said.

The police arrested and charged all three with:
- possession of a pistol under the age of 18;
- entering auto (three counts);
- loitering and prowling (three counts);
- possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (three counts);
- financial transaction card theft (three counts).
The police also charged Daniels and Juarez with one count each of contributing to the delinquincy of a minor.
In addition, Juarez, the car's driver, was charged with:
- driving while unlicensed;
- affixing a Tag to conceal the identity of a vehicle;
- failure to dim headlights.
