Bartow County officials said they do not intend to pursue any criminal charges.

BARTOW COUNTY, GA—Four Bartow County employees are out of a job after county officials verified they were falsifying their time card information. The employees worked in animal control.

According to The Daily Tribune News, the employees were terminated on Feb. 16.

“We reviewed records going back to November and found a variety of problems,” Bartow County Administrator Peter Olson told the newspaper. “Calls being taken and not responded to, calls being taken in the morning but only responded to in the evening to bill them as overtime, employees billing for calls other employees were responding to and time entries showing calls for which there were no corresponding GPS data on the County vehicle.”
