Arts Festival At Rose Lawn On Sept. 15-16 In Cartersville

The 45th annual festival will be held at the Rose Lawn Museum.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The 45th annual Arts Festival At Rose Lawn will bring two days of family-friendly fun to Bartow County this weekend.

This year's show will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Rose Lawn Museum at 224 W. Cherokee Avenue in Cartersville.

Attendees can expect to see the work of more than 150 artists throughout the juried, two-day festival on the lawn of the Victorian home of Methodist minister Rev. Sam Jones. Along with marveling at these unique creations, you can also enjoy musical entertainment, performing arts and, of course, food. This year's entertainment lineup has also been released:

Saturday, Sept. 15:

  • 10:30 a.m.: Cartersville Gymnastics
  • 11 a.m.: Steps of Faith
  • noon: Cartersville City Ballet
  • 12:30 p.m.: Fusion Dance Academy
  • 1 p.m.: Awards ceremony
  • 1:30 p.m.: In That Day
  • 2:30 p.m.: Spirit of the Dance
  • 3 p.m.: Reece McCamy and Friends
  • 5 p.m.: Music by Loren Fleenor

Sunday, Sept 16:

  • 1:15 p.m.: Kerry's School of Dance
  • 2 p.m.: Scarlet Wood
  • 3 p.m.: The Georgia Groove Revue
  • 4 p.m.: Music By Loren Fleenor

The Bartow County Master Gardeners will host a plant sale, and guided tours of the Rose Lawn Museum to learn more about Jones' history are also planned.

Juried artist awards will be presented at 1 p.m. Saturday. That will be followed by the Cartersville-Bartow County Convention & Visitors Bureau Hospitality Heroes Awards and People’s Choice Awards for Best Restaurant, Best Shoppe, and Best Attraction.

The festival, hosted by the Bartow County government and sponsored by the Cartersville-Bartow County Convention and Visitors Bureau, includes free admission.
