Bartow, Cartersville Schools Make Decision On Dec. 11 Classes
BREAKING: One system will open Monday, Dec. 11 while the other will close up shop.
CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Students in the Cartersville City School System who were hoping for a day off from school due to the winter weather are out of luck. That's because the system said Sunday on its Facebook page that it will resume normal operations for Monday, Dec. 11.
The same can't be said for the Bartow County School System, as that district has opted to cancel classes and keep its offices closed for Dec. 11.
The system added that staff members should report to work "when possible," according to its Facebook page.
