ATLANTA – State Rep. Christian Coomer, R-Cartersville, along with 32 other members of a Georgia delegation, recently traveled to Shanghai and Xi’an, China, for an economic development mission. The delegation met with government and business leaders to support Georgia’s efforts to attract Chinese investment, trade, business development and tourism.

“I was deeply honored to travel to Shanghai and Xi’an and to play a role in further fortifying Georgia and China’s meaningful partnership,” Coomer said in a statement.

“It is critically important to maintain and strengthen Georgia’s economic ties with China, and I believe that this was accomplished through our mission," said Coomer, the majority whip in Georgia's House of Representatives.
