CSX Closes Railroad Crossing In Cartersville For Repair
CSX estimates that the crossing in Cartersville will be closed to traffic until early Friday morning.
CARTERSVILLE, GA—CSX closed their Mission Road railroad crossing neary Burnt Hickory Road after 10 a.m. for track and asphalt repair, according to the Cartersville Police Department.
They estimate that the crossing will be closed to traffic until early Friday morning.
The planned detour will be via Burnt Hickory Road, Sugar Valley Road and Highway 293 (Cassville Road).
