Early Bird Registration for Rome’s Big Float Ends May 28
Hundreds of paddlers are expected for the 6-mile celebration on the Etowah River set for June 3.

From COOSA River Basin Initiative: The early bird registration deadline for the Coosa River Basin Initiative's Rome's Big Float ends this Sunday, May 28. After May 28, registration fees increase and event t-shirts cannot be guaranteed to late registrants.
Hundreds of paddlers are expected for the 6-mile celebration on the Etowah River set for June 3.
The event is for canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, tubes, rafts and anything else that floats your boat, so long as it actually floats.

Through Sunday, registration fees are $30 per person. Children 12 and under ride for free. After May 28, registration fees increase to $35 per person.
CRBI will be giving away more than $1000 in prizes to participants through our Float-a-thon fundraising competition and vessel design and decoration contests. This year's theme for the Big Float is "Pirates and Pisces" and CRBI is encouraging participants to decorate their vessels or build vessels corresponding to that theme.

Following the river trip an after party will be held at River Dog Outpost in downtown Rome. A complimentary SweetWater beer will be given to all registered participants 21 and older.
