Easter Egg Drop Returns To Dellinger Park

The 8th annual event will take place Saturday, March 28 in Cartersville.

Residents who are looking for a nontraditional Easter egg hunt are invited to come out to the eight annual Cartersville Egg Drop.

The free event, sponsored by CrossPoint City Church, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at Dellinger Park in Cartersville.

This Easter hunt with a twist includes a traditional set up of eggs hidden on the field. Organizers will also drop thousands of eggs from a helicopter before each hunt.

Five egg drops will take place, and they will be separated by age groups. Additionally, a drop catering to children with special needs will also take place.

The park opens and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. In addition to the Egg Drop, children and families will be able to enjoy music, inflatables, face painting, games, food for purchase and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself. Residents are advised to bring your cameras and visit the Spring Photo area to capture the fun.

Since many people in the community to anticipated to attend attend the Egg Drop, please be sure to be at the registration tables no later than 9:30 a.m. so you will have plenty of time to check in and get your child to their age appropriate field.
