Registration is open through June 6 for the camp, which will teach children about nature and history, allow them to take part in arts and crafts and have fun with their peers.

The camp is open to youth between the age of 6 and 12.

The camp will run June 10-12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site, which is at 813 Indian Mounds Road SE in Cartersville.

The cost to participate is $45, and participating children will need to be dressed for outdoors adventure, prepared for the daily weather and bring their own picnic lunches each day.
