Also, the DDA’s Spring Punch Card Campaign will kick off Friday evening and end on April 3, that month’s First Friday series.

Punch Cards will be available at various downtown businesses. For every $100 a shopper spends downtown during this time, their name will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket containing donations from various downtown businesses.

Cartersville DDA has also organized a Pub Crawl for the March First Friday, which will start at 5 p.m. For $25, participants will receive a T-shirt (which must be worn the evening of the event) and a ticket to present to each participating restaurant for a free beer.

Some of the participating venues will be providing specials and features, so be sure to support them and remember to take care of your servers and bartenders.

“It is so wonderful to see more and more businesses want to participate in our First Friday events and help bring people to Downtown Cartersville,” said Special Events Coordinator Hollie Duncan. “For example, Bob Smith from The City Cellar has graciously donated t-shirts this year for our Pub Crawl. We are so blessed to have such generous and engaged downtown business owners like him in our community.”

Participating restaurants include Ate Track Bar & Grill, E. Street Tavern, Jefferson’s Restaurant, Mellow Mushroom and The City Cellar & Loft.

T-shirts and tickets are available for purchase cash or check only at the Downtown Cartersville Train Depot. Participants must be 21 years of age or older, and participants are asked to please drink responsibly.
