In Memory: James "Jim" Mills, 54, Loved Fishing and His Family
Mills died Feb. 2 in a boating accident on Allatoona Lake in Cherokee County.

In loving memory of Jim L. Mills, 54, of Taylorsville, GA, was taken to his Lord and savior on Thursday February 2, 2017, doing what he loved, fishing.
His biggest prized possession left behind was his family. Jim was an honorable man, who served our country, who lived life to the fullest and always reassured his love for his family. Jim truly was the glue to his family and did everything he could to put a smile on everyone's face. He will be missed by anyone who knew him.

Jim is the youngest son of the late Darce Mills and survived by his mother, Elizabeth Mills of Morristown, TN. He is also survived by his wife of thirty years, Tonya Mills. They had two children together, N. Brian and Krista with one grandchild, Mason. He is also survived by his brother, John; sister-in-law, Missy; mother-in-law, Connie Harvey; brother-in-law, Jamie Stanford with wife Carissa.
He is also survived by his nephew, Michael Mills and niece, Heather Epsy.

Visitation was held at Owen Funeral Home on Wednesday Feb. 8 om four o'clock in the afternoon until six. A celebration of life service was held following the visitation at the Owen Funeral Home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to the charity of your choice.
