Meth Arrests, Possible Heroin And Cocaine: Cartersville Crime
Meth and possible heroin and cocaine arrests were some crimes reported by Cartersville Police this week.
CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the city. Arrests do not equal convictions.
- A 56-year-old man and 38-year-old man were arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and ingestion and the man was also charged with headlight requirements, April 24.
- A 38-year-old man was arrested on a charge of theft by shoplifting-misdemeanor, April 24. Suspected Heroin (approx. 1.1 grams) and suspected Cocaine (approx. 1.0 gram) were placed into evidence for safe keeping and sent to the GBI Crime Lab for testing. The man was also charged with driving while license suspended and tag light requirement. More charges are pending GBI Crime Lab results on the possible drugs.
