Mossy Oak's Cuz Strickland to Speak at Annual Sportsman's Dinner

The Cartersville First Baptist Church is hosting a Sportsman's Dinner on Saturday March 4 featuring speaker Cuz Strickland (Mossy Oak)

Ronnie “Cuz” Strickland, senior vice president of renowned camouflage brand Mossy Oak, will speak on Saturday, March 4 from 4:30-8 p.m. at the annual Sportsman’s Dinner produced by the Fishers of Men (Men’s Ministry) of Cartersville First Baptist Church.

The annual event, located at 241 Douthit Ferry Road in Cartersville, features food, fun, fellowship, prizes and outdoor sporting competitions. Activities include archery, rod and reel casting, target BB gun shooting, a meat-smoker demonstration and first-ever Silent Auction with great prize-winning opportunities.

All proceeds from the event will benefit two local Bartow County based charities, Orphan Aid Liberia and Boys and Girls Club of Bartow County.

Strickland is set to deliver the evening’s keynote address to the men and male youth of the community. In his current role at Mossy Oak, he oversees media efforts that have expanded to include both traditional broadcast and online video. He is author of three books of humor and instruction on turkey hunting, and in 2010 was recognized as the National Wild Turkey Federation's Communicator of the Year.

The Cartersville First Baptist Men’s Ministry is extending an invitation to all men of the Bartow County community to attend. Ticket prices are $30 for adults and $15 for youth 18 and under.

Registration can be completed online at http://bitly.com/cfbcmen2. Onsite registration can be completed at Cartersville First Baptist Church on Sunday mornings in the church lobby until Feb. 26.
