Motorcycle Accident Claims Life Of Adairsville Man
An Adairsville man who took a curve too fast on Jones Mill Road Saturday flipped his Harley and slid into the path of oncoming traffic.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — An Adairsville man died Saturday when the motorcycle he was driving flipped into the opposite lane, where it was struck by an oncoming car.
Jamie Boilard Jr., 33, was pronounced dead at the scene by Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton, according to WBHF Community Radio.
The Georgia State Patrol reports that Boilard took a curve too fast while riding north on Jones Mill Road, causing him to lose control of his 2006 Harley Street Glide motorcycle. After the Harley flipped, both it and Boilard slid into the southbound lane, where they were struck by a car headed in the other direction.
