New Freezer Plant To Bring 70 Jobs To Cartersville
A Bartow County freezer facility is one of two planned for Georgia by Atlanta-based Agile Cold Storage, Gov. Brian Kemp announced Thursday.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — A Georgia company that supports the state’s poultry industry is building a freezer facility in Cartersville that will create about 70 jobs.
Gov. Brian Kemp announced Thursday that Atlanta-based Agile Cold Storage will build two semi-automated freezer buildings — one in Bartow County, the other in Hall County — worth more than $60 million.
“It’s great to see Georgia-based companies reinvest in their home state and create opportunities for hardworking Georgians,” Kemp said.

The company also plans to build and own a 150,000-square-foot facility in Gainesville, where it plans to create about 100 positions.

“We appreciate the quality jobs and investment that Agile will bring, and our state and local partners who helped encourage the company to come to this decision,” said Bartow County Commissioner Steve Taylor.
