Seven Of 16 Bartow Transit Employees Test Positive For COVID-19
Bartow's buses remain shut down until July 24 after nearly half the employees tested positive for the coronavirus, with one hospitalized.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Bartow County’s buses will stay stationary for at least another week after nearly half of the department’s employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Positive diagnoses for three employees — including one hospitalization — had already stopped buses in their tracks through this Friday. Transit director Weldon Dudley told Patch last week that he would reevaluation the situation at the end of this week.
When three more employees tested positive for COVID-19, Dudley decided not to wait until the end of the week.
