$2 admission. Free for kids 12 and under.

Georgia’s oldest known Chrysanthemum Show takes place inside the historic Stilesboro Academy (1859) on Saturday, Nov. 7th.
Program begins at 11:00, with exhibits and Tea Room open at 11:30.

The chrysanthemums on exhibit are grown by members of the Stilesboro Improvement Club and are displayed in artistic designs based on a common theme. This year’s theme is ‘Christmas is in the Air.’

Lunch is available for purchase in “The Tea Room”, which serves the same menu first created in the 1950’s, and includes homemade Brunswick stew, chicken salad, congealed salads, fresh baked cakes, sweet tea and soft drinks.

Stilesboro Academy was built in 1859 and serves as the home to the Stilesboro Improvement Club. The club was formed in 1910 to preserve the building and support the community.
