Vineyard Mountain Trail Closed For Scheduled Hunts

BARTOW COUNTY, GA — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Allatoona Lake Project will close the Vineyard Mountain Trail Dec. 1-31 due to scheduled hunting activities in the area.

The trail heads for Vineyard Mountain Trail are located at Riverside Day Use Area and Bethany Bridge in Bartow County.

Hikers should schedule their activities at other nearby locations such as Cooper’s Furnace Trail, Pine Mountain Trail, or the trails at Red Top Mountain State Park.
