Youth Archery Deer Hunt On Dec. 1-2 At Allatoona Lake
This hunt is for youth ages 15 and under. Each hunter must be accompanied by parent or guardian with a Georgia big game license.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District will host an archery-only deer hunt for youth next month at Allatoona Lake in Bartow County. the agency said.
Hunting blinds for the two-day initiative, set for Dec. 1-2, will be identified throughout McKinney Campground. The use of each hunting blind will be by reservation only and limited to youth ages 15 and under. A parent or guardian must accompany each youth hunter and possess a valid Georgia Big Game license.
Requests for reservations will be taken by phone or in person 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through Nov. 15. The available limited spaces will be filled by lottery.
