Congratulations to Pat Lottier—this year's ABL Businesswoman of the Year—and all winners at the 27th Annual Atlanta Business League Super Tuesday awards luncheon and conference.

In addition to Lottier, according to , the other winners were:

  • Creative Style--Andrea Riggs
  • Home Office Business--Michelle Matthews
  • Nontraditional Business Achievement--LaJean Gould

The Atlanta Business League is the city's oldest advocacy organization for African-American businesses. The organization's Super Tuesday awards luncheon and conference was 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 4, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, 265 Peachtree Center Ave.

Super Tuesday is designed to empower business entrepreneurs and professionals at all levels from throughout the metropolitan Atlanta community.

Workshops at this year's conference included: "Staying Cash Flow Positive: How to Rebound in a Troubled Economy;" "Balance: Get Over it, You Can Win Without It;" and, "What's Your Agenda: Learn the Art of Networking and Relationship Building."

The Atlanta Business League was established in 1933 as an affiliate of the National Business League—founded in 1900 by Booker T. Washington (see attached photograph)—and fosters the growth, creation, and development of successful business enterprises owned, operated and managed by African-Americans in metropolitan Atlanta.
