Celebrating Princeton Court’s Bus Donation

Donated by JenCare Senior Medical Center

College Park, GA – The public is invited to join residents and staff members of National Church Residences for an outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the donation of a bus from JenCare Senior Medical Center. The bus seats eight passengers. The senior-friendly bus will provide residents with safe and reliable transportation to the grocery store, pharmacy, post office, bank and other destinations.

“We’re extremely thankful for the generous bus donation from JenCare Senior Medical Center,” said Michelle Norris, executive vice president of external affairs & strategic partnerships at National Church Residences. “This bus will make a big difference in the lives of our senior residents, enabling them to remain mobile and maintain their social independence.”

The dedication festivities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and light refreshments. All attendees will be required to wear a face mask covering and practice social distancing. The event will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Princeton Court located at 3633 Howard Drive, College Park, GA 30337. For seniors most in need of care, high-quality health care often is beyond reach. JenCare Senior Medical Center is a ChenMed company that brings concierge-style medicine — and better health outcomes — to the neediest populations. In the metro area, JenCare operates four senior-focused medical practices in Atlanta, Decatur, East Point and Morrow, Georgia.

ChenMed is a privately owned medical, management and technology company providing personalized primary care to tens of thousands of seniors in 10 states (Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia). Its popular brands include JenCare Senior Medical Center, Chen Senior Medical Center and Dedicated Senior Medical Center.

Results of JenCare’s/ChenMed’s high-touch approach to primary care are impressive, as illustrated in the Modern Healthcare cover story (Oct. 20, 2018), which reports, “Indeed, ChenMed's approach has resulted in 50 percent fewer hospital admissions compared with a standard primary-care practice, 28 percent lower per-member costs and significantly higher use of evidence-based medications.” Inspired by ChenMed chairman and founder James Chen, M.D., Ph.D., the company has been serving low-to-moderate-income seniors with multiple complex chronic conditions for 35 years.
