"Celebration of Life" Weekend for Bishop Dr. Barbara L. King

Bishop Dr. Barbara Lewis King, transitioned on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Dr. Barbara, as she is affectionately called, founded the Hillside International Truth Center in 1971 as a New Thought, inclusive, healing ministry in Atlanta, Georgia open to all people everywhere.

Three days of celebration and remembrance are planned to honor Dr. Barbara this weekend. All events will be held on the campus of Hillside International Truth Center, 2450 Cascade Rd. SW, Atlanta, GA 30311. The public is invited to attend and all events are free and open to the public.

Friday, November 6, 2020 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm
INFORMAL LIGHT CEREMONY in Hillside International Truth Center Cascade Road parking lot across the street. BYOL (bring your own light – cellphone or candlelight). A time of reflection, prayer and quiet. Tune your radio to 90.5 FM in the parking lot. This event will not be live streamed.

Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11 a.m.
Public CELEBRATION OF LIFE. This event will take place on the Hillside campus and will be streamed live on the Hillside website, www.HillsideInternational.org, Facebook.com/hillsidechapel and on the Hillside International Truth Center YouTube channel.

Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
DRIVE-IN SERVICE in the Hillside International Truth Center parking lots.
Listen on 90.5 FM in the parking lots. Congregants will share personal reflections.
