Cheapest Gas in Greater Southwest Atlanta Tuesday
Gas is high but there are places where you can save a few bucks.

According to the Consumer Price Index, national gasoline average prices dropped by 6.8 percent in June compared to the same month last year.
Yet even after two straight months with prices falling at the pump, gasoline is still costing consumers 36 percent more than it did at this time a year ago. And while it’s costing less of late to gas up vehicles at the local filling station, prices for such staples as food, clothing and cars continues to climb according to this report from CNNMoney.
So where are the cheapest gas prices in the area. According to www.GasBuddy.com, some of the cheapest southwest Atlanta prices are at the QuikTrip ($3.65 as of 6 a.m. Aug. 2), 5705 Fulton Industrial Bvld., near Camp Creek Pkwy., and the Chevron, ($3.70 as of 6 a.m. Aug. 2), 4485 Campbellton Rd., at County Line Rd.
