College Park Man Gets 20 Years For Pimping 14-Year-Old Girl

ATLANTA, GA -- A College Park man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking and the pimping of a 14-year-old girl, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced late Tuesday.

Christopher Tallington, 27, was convicted of multiple crimes, including trafficking for sexual servitude, pimping, pandering, child molestation, statutory rape, simple battery and sexual exploitation of a minor, the DA's office said.

Tallington came to the attention of authorities in January 2016 when officers responded to a “domestic dispute” at the Exxon gas station located at the 5000 block of Old National Highway in College Park.

Tallington told officers that he had an altercation with the teenage girl at the scene because she broke his phone. A witness however told police that he saw the defendant grab the girl by the neck as she screamed, “Let me go! Get off of me! Help!”

Authorities investigating the situation later found out that the girl was only 14 years old when she met Tallington in December 2015.

Questioned by investigators, the girl divulged that she had slept with Tallington three different times at area hotels around Old National Highway between December 2015 and January 2016. Police then learned that the Tallington would pimp the girl out to several different men, luring them via advertisements on Backpage.com, a lurid website known for prostitution.

Tallington's phone had "several lewd pictures and videos" of the girl, the Fulton DA said in a news release.

Following his conviction, Defendant Tallington was sentenced to 20 years to serve 15 in prison by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams.

The Director of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office Sex Trafficking Division Irina Khasin and Senior Assistant District Attorney Rudy Harris assisted with the case.
