Mayor and community have not shown enough outrage over murder of Providence Missionary Baptist Church associate pastor.

Dear Cascade Patch:
The Cascade area surrounding Providence Baptist Church is one of the worst crime areas in the city. Drug houses (are common) and robberies, etc., a daily occurrence. The murder of Pastor Moses should have brought community protest; but the residents seem to have their heads buried in the sand.

The house directly across from where Pastor Moses was murdered was burglarized last year. It is the home of an Atlanta Police Officer. The Fulton County District Attorney's car was burglarized while dining in the Beautiful Restaurant in broad daylight (recently).
Actual and attempted robberies occur at the post office on Herrings Road and the Woolfolk Boys & Girls Club has been burglarized twice this year.

I read that there is community policing (but) the only time we see officers is when they are zooming by or eating in the Beautiful Restaurant.
The Mayor needs to take care of crime in his neighborhood and quit meddling in school board business.
