Easter Egg Hunts In Metro Atlanta: A List

Easter egg hunts are planned around the Atlanta area, including in Decatur, Atlanta, Duluth, Marietta, Johns Creek.

Family-friendly games and prizes are on tap this Easter season around metro Atlanta as several organizations in various municipalities are planning Easter egg hunts in commemoration of the holiday.

For children, there will be face paintings, dancing and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Adults are invited in on the act as well with several activities planned for them, such as brunches and events planned for the whole family.

Here are some of the Easter egg hunts scheduled in the first two weeks of April:

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center: 980 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. Callanwolde’s beautiful spring gardens and grounds will be littered with more than 1,000 candy-painted eggs for an Easter Egg Hunt. There will be family-friendly games activities such as a LEGO building station, face painting, and a kids’ dance floor with DJ J&M Sound Design. The cost is $5. For more info.

Norcross Easter Egg Hunt (free): Saturday, April 15 at 10 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be scattering eggs in Rossie Brundage Park, 350 Autry Street. So bring your Easter baskets and celebrate spring in Norcross with a FREE Easter Egg Hunt that is sure to be fun for all! Children will also have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny. Also, an Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs and their families will be held Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m. at Rossie Brundage Park, 350 Autry Street.

Mount Pisgah Athletic Complex: 9825 Brumbelow Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022. This one will be fun. With 25,000 eggs, inflatables, games, food, fun and prizes. All are missing is YOU! Bring everyone you know for a morning of hunting, playing, fellowship and fun for your family, friends, and neighbors. Egg hunts will be held every 30 minutes all morning across five age-appropriate fields. It’s sure to be an EGG-cellent day! See the deets on Mount Pisgah's website.

The Cobb County Easter Egg Hunt: Al Bishop Softball Complex, 1082 Al Bishop Dr.Marietta, GA. 30008: Families are invited to an activity-filled Easter event on Saturday, April 15. The Eggstravaganza will take place at Al Bishop Softball Complex in Marietta. Parking and admission is free.

The 2017 Marietta Easter Egg Hunt aka the “Easter Egg Scramble”: Laurel Park, 151 Manning Road Marietta Ga 30064. Friday, April 7, 6:30 p.m. The Marietta Parks and Recreation Department-sponsored event will feature candy and fun prizes for all. After the hunt, Easter Bunny photo opportunities will be available.

Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt -- Johns Creek: The event lawn at Park Place at Newtown School. 3125 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek. 10 a.m. April 15. Free. The Johns Creek Recreation & Parks Division-hosted event cater to people with disabilities. It will include games, food and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. All ages welcome. The Acworth Egg Hunt: Acworth Sports Complex-Baseball Fields, 4000 S. Main St., Acworth: Starting at 6:30 p.m. on April 7, the event will include more than 50,000 eggs filled with everything from toys and candy to prizes. Easter Bunny will be parachuted into the complex around 7:15. The Hunt begins at 7:30.

Illuminated Egg Hunt (nocturnal Easter egg hunt): 100 E. Crogan St., Lawrenceville. 7 p.m. April 14. If you've ever wanted to hunt for Easter eggs in the dark, now is your chance. The event is free for parents, who must accompany children. Price: $6 per person for ages 2-12. The first egg hunt, for little children ages 2-5, begins at 8:15 p.m. Attendees must preregister by April 3 at the link above.

Smyrna — Tolleson Park (nocturnal Easter egg hunt): 3515 McCauley Road, Smyrna. 7:30 p.m. April 8. Youngest age group (ages 5 and younger) will begin at 7:30 p.m. Advance registration is $5 per family; it’s $10 per family at gate. After the hunt, families will be treated to the movie "Secret Life of Pets." Tickets can be purchased at Smyrna Community Center, or the Wolfe Adult Recreation Center. Duluth Easter Egg Hunt: City of Duluth, Georgia - City Hall, 3167 Main St, Duluth, GA: The 23rd annual Easter Egg Hunt brought to you by the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department. The FREE event will take place Saturday, April 15th at Scott Hudgens Park located at 4545 Rivergreen Parkway. The event kicks off at 1 p.m.

St. Regis Atlanta’s Decadent Easter Brunch & “Golden Egg” Easter Egg Hunt: Astor Court at The St. Regis Atlanta 88 West Paces Ferry Road Northwest Atlanta, GA 30305: On Sunday, April 16, the St. Regis Atlanta will host an extravagant Easter celebration featuring a refined Southern brunch in Astor Court. There will be two seatings: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The cost is $149 per adult, $75 for children ages 8-12, $59 for children ages 4-7, and free for children under 3.

Bunny Brunch at the Classic Center: on Saturday, April 1, come enjoy a slate of Easter-related events, including a full brunch buffet, an Easter Bunny photo opp, an Easter egg hunt, an Easter craft project and more. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Classic Center in Athens.

Egg Hunt on the Farm at the Atlanta History Center: 130 West Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, GA. Come celebrate springtime on the Smith Family Farm during our annual egg hunt. Members admitted free. Admission is $6.50 adults; $5.50 children. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more children.

GO Kickball's Adult Egg Hunt: Midtown Tavern, 554 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. Yes, that's right, the adults get to have fun, too. The second annual Atlanta Adult Easter Egg Hunt will feature drink specials and amazing prizes such as Braves tickets and more. The event costs $15.

Easter Egg Hunt & Buffet: McCray's Tavern on the Square: 100 N Perry St, Lawrenceville, GA: On April 15 an Easter Egg Hunt will be held on the Lawrenceville Lawn. Children can also slide over to McCray's Tavern on the Square for a Kid's Buffet with drink and dessert -- all for $2.99.
