Fulton County Back-to-School Immunization Rush Well Underway
Immunizations are available at College Park and North Fulton Regional Health Centers through August 19.

ATLANTA, GA — Fulton County Health Department has begun offering back-to-school immunizations for students as of Monday, July 28 and will continue through Friday, August 19. Immunizations for school children are required by Georgia law. Vaccinations are given on a first-come, first-serve basis from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the College Park and North Fulton Regional Health Centers. Fulton County is only offering immunizations at these two health centers during the three-week rush period and anticipates vaccinating more than 2,000 students.
Families may pay for the immunizations and required certificates using cash or credit/debit cards. Medicaid and private insurance are accepted. Information on which vaccines are required at a particular age can be found by clicking here.

- Bring their children to the clinic for immunizations and also bring them back when they are coming to pick up immunization certificates. Sometimes immunizations need to be updated.
- Bring photo identification for the parents and identification for the children.
- Be sure to bring your insurance or Medicaid cards.
- Bring proof of income, if uninsured. Sliding scale fees are available.
- Please be prepared for a two-hour appointment time.
New 7th Grade Immunization Requirements
Georgia's immunization requirements for children attending seventh grade were revised to align with the recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Since July 1, 2014, all children born on or after January 1, 2002 who are attending seventh grade, and children who are new entrants into a Georgia school in grades eight through twelve must have received one dose of Tdap vaccine and one dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine.
