Gunman Shoots Woman Outside Convenience Store In Atlanta
A man opened fire on a woman outside a convenience store in southwest Atlanta, police say. They are seeking the public's help.

ATLANTA, GA --Police in Atlanta are asking the public's help in finding a gunman who opened fire on a woman while she was behind the wheel in southwest Atlanta. The shooting took place Fridayoutside a convenience store in the 1100 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.

Officers surmise that the man got into a verbal dispute with the woman while he was standing just outside her vehicle. He then commenced to pull out a gun and shoot at the car, authorities said. The woman, in a panic, reversed the car and sped off.

The gunman continued to blast at her though, eventually shooting her in the upper arm, police said. She was rushed to the hospital reported to be in stable condition. according to law enforcement.
The incident is the second time in three weeks that a woman has been shot around Joseph E. Boone. In the first shooting, a woman and Uber driver were shot at.
